WORKSHOP: OUR TREEHOUSE 🌳✨v

I had the joy of guiding young makers in Almere through a very special workshop as part of the KIDD program — Kunst Is Dichterbij dan je Denkt.

Through KIDD, I worked with children from all kinds of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, helping them create their own treehouse. Using simple materials like wooden sticks, cardboard, and popsicle sticks, they explored space, structure, and storytelling. I set the framework — they brought the magic. There’s something deeply rewarding about seeing children take ownership of a creative process and build something uniquely theirs.

Thank you @kidd and @kunstlinie for inviting us and supporting such meaningful, perspective-widening arts education. The importance of arts and crafts is more relevant than ever today.
